While the Pakistani film industry was stagnant a few years ago, the small screen has always been the focus of attention. Tere Bin, Lollywood’s latest blockbuster drama serial, is making headlines for all the right reasons.
The Yumna Zaidi-Wahaj Ali drama serial, which airs on Geo TV, has fans not only in Pakistan but also in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, the Middle East, and Saudi Arabia.
A viral video of a pool scene from the project has recently gone viral on the internet. This never-before-seen performance astounded the Pakistani audience, who had not expected such innovative ideas in a local television serial.
To set the scene, Meerab and Murtasim were arguing when the latter let go of his hand and the former fell into the pool.
“Such a scene hasn’t been shot in the history of Pakistani dramas and I was interested for the sake of the Pakistani audience, they must be treated with such a different scene,” Zaidi said of the production and execution. It was shot in real life, and my heart was sinking because such scenes can be dangerous.”
Zaidi’s performance was a hit with the audience. Following the breaking of multiple TRP records, social media users are eager to watch the highly anticipated scene.
The official Geo TV network’s Instagram account also shared a clip from the television show’s trendy scene.
