Although YouTube is entering the gaming world, it is not an ambitious project that aims to bring popular games or cloud gaming. Instead, a selection of mini-games will soon be available on the YouTube homepage for some relaxing downtime.
This feature is currently only available to a small number of beta testers as the video-sharing platform is still testing it. If you’re one of the fortunate chosen beta testers, the feature is called “Playables” and it should show up in a separate tab on the homepage. Both the desktop website and the mobile app will have access to it.
There isn’t a list of titles that have been published as of yet, but Stack Bounce, according to the report, is one that can be found. In this game, players have control over a ball that, with precisely timed clicks, breaks through rings.

Stack Bounce

It’s important to note that navigating a 3D ball differs significantly from the games Google Stadia provided prior to ceasing operations. Google does note that game progress will be saved and can be accessed via the “History” tab.
In essence, this indicates that more challenging video games could be coming soon, as moving a bouncing ball through rings doesn’t really require much advancement. The platform currently primarily functions as a library of mini-games, though.
