After being involved in a car accident that resulted in Jake McLean’s death, YAZMIN Oukhellou has taken out on vacation.
In an effort to “take her mind off everything that’s occurred,” the 28-year-old Towie star was seen leaving for the retreat after the terrifying incident in Turkey.
Yazmin was spotted at London Stansted Airport before her journey wearing all black.
Before departing, the reality star was seen giving her mother Lisa a bear embrace.
Later, she was observed bringing a gold luggage into the airport gate.
“Yaz has gone away with a best friend for a few days to try and take her mind off everything that’s happened,” a source told The Sun.
It happens after the reality star suffered severe injuries as a result of a terrifying vehicle accident in Turkey.
At that moment, Yaz frantically sought to rouse up 33-year-old Jake while attempting to ring the horn for attention. She then broke her own arm while trying to flee the car and go for assistance.
Jake couldn’t be saved despite the quick response of the emergency services.
Once the ambulance arrived, Yazmin kept working to save her partner, saying: “They assisted me. I begged them to save him, but all they said was, “We just need to take him to another hospital.””
While she was rushing to the hospital, Jake was pronounced dead.
Yaz dozed off after a night of drinking with pals, and when she awoke, their Mercedes had plunged 70 feet from a Turkish mountain road.
We had been falling for what seemed like ages, she said. I had the impression that I was continuously rotating in a washing machine. My right arm was then stuck until it finally stopped.
“The automobile was inverted. It had an open sunroof, and my right arm was just trapped behind my back and beneath the folded back of the car roof.
The collision had opened an artery, though Yazmin was unaware of it at the time.
She added: “My arm was completely covered in blood, I could just feel it. With everything around me, it felt as though I were lying in a hot bath.
“I also tried to rouse Jake at the same time. I mentally reassured myself, “OK, he’s only unconscious; since I’m still alive, he must still be alive.” I didn’t want to accept to myself that he might have passed away.”
Yazmin went on to say “Through pure adrenaline and panic, I managed to snap my arm. As I got out of the car, my left hand was sort of holding my arm together.
I yelled for aid as I rushed up to the bank’s peak.
Around a year after they started dating, Yazmin, 28, moved from Essex to live with Jake in Dubai.
A month or so after divorcing James Lock, another Towie cast member, she moved on with him.
In December of last year, the couple announced their romance with adoring pictures from a special evening out in Dubai.
She admitted their breakup in an Instagram post in January, however it was recently reported that she and James had reconciled after going on a lunch date in Essex.
