In China, Yamaha has unveiled a sporty commuter bike with scrambler-inspired appearance. It is known as the GT150 Fazer and is described as an affordable entry-level enthusiast bike, similar to the Hi-Speed Infinity SR150 Cafe-Racer in Pakistan.
A 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI) technology powers the GT150 Fazer. 12 horsepower and 12.4 Newton metres of torque are produced by the engine. A chain final drive and a 5-speed constant mesh transmission are used to drive the rear wheels.
Front and rear single-piston hydraulic disc brakes are equipped with the motorcycle. The gauge cluster has a 12-volt power outlet next to a circular LCD panel that displays the essential data.
The suspension system consists of twin shock absorbers in the back and non-adjustable telescopic forks up front. The GT150 Fazer weighs 126 kilogrammes and has a fuel capacity of 12 litres; however, the current fuel efficiency is unknown.
According to reports, the bike will cost the equivalent of Rs. 530,000, which is a high sum by Pakistani standards. In any case, the GT150 Fazer is a stylish bike that is sure to become more well-liked by riders.
