The Xiaomi Civi 3 will formally launch on May 25. Multiple posters showcasing the entire design of the Civi series smartphone have been released by the Chinese smartphone brand in advance of its official launch. The 50-megapixel primary rear sensor for the Xiaomi Civi 3 is rumored to support optical image stabilization (OIS). It has a pill-shaped cutout on the display, just like the Xiaomi Civi 2, which houses two 32-megapixel front-facing cameras. It is confirmed that a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC powers the Xiaomi Civi 3.
As the Xiaomi Civi 3 launch date draws nearer, Xiaomi has shared more information about the phone’s features and design on Weibo. As previously mentioned, the teasers display the device with curved edges and a pill-shaped cutout on the display. It has a circular camera module and a dual-tone design.
A 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization is rumored to be included in the Xiaomi Civi 3. The device will have dual 32-megapixel selfie sensors for selfies and video calls. The selfie sensor’s wide 100-degree field of view and 78-degree beauty mirror will help with vlogging. They provide a portrait blurring feature in addition to supporting 4K video recording. Its confirmed weight is 173.5 grams, and its body is 7.56mm thin and 71.7mm wide.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 will be released on May 25 as Xiaomi has already announced. The launch event will start in China at 11:00 am PST/2:00 pm local time. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC will be installed in the device. It will undoubtedly be available in the colors Adventure Gold, Coconut Grey, Mint Green, and Rose Purple. The new Civi phone’s global release has not yet received any comments from Xiaomi.
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the Xiaomi Civi 2 had a starting price of CNY 2,399 when it was introduced in China last year.
