The Xiaomi Civi 2, which made its debut in China last year, is about to get a replacement. Through a Weibo post from a while back, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer confirmed the Xiaomi Civi 3 release as well as details regarding its processor. The smartphone’s performance rating has now been revealed by its appearance on the Geekbench listing. A MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC is confirmed to be the internal processor of the Xiaomi Civi 3. Additionally, it is anticipated to have 512GB of onboard storage and 12GB of RAM.
The upcoming Xiaomi Civi 3 has the model number 23046PNC9C, per the Geekbench listing. According to the listing, the smartphone received 3356 points for the multi-core test and 1148 points for the single-core test. It also reveals that Android-13 will be the default operating system for the Xiaomi Civi 3. In addition, an octa-core processor with four 2.0 GHz, three 3.0 GHz, and one 3.10 GHz cores is said to be included in the phone.
In addition to these details on the Geekbench listing, Xiaomi has also confirmed via a Weibo post that it will launch the Xiaomi Civi 3 with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.
According to previous rumors, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will have a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It is rumored to have a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary sensor as its focal point. Additionally, two front-facing cameras with a 100-degree field of view and 32 megapixels were expected to be included.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 will replace the Xiaomi Civi 2, which was introduced in China last year. It has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm powers the phone. The phone has a 32-megapixel dual-front camera setup in addition to a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor for optics. It has a 4,500mAh battery inside that can be charged quickly at 67W.
