The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC-equipped Xiaomi Civi 2 was introduced in China in September of last year. Now, it’s said that the smartphone company is getting ready to introduce a potential replacement. The Xiaomi Civi 3 reportedly has certification from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), despite Xiaomi not yet confirming its existence. According to reports, it has 512GB of onboard storage and 12GB of RAM. Under the hood of the Xiaomi Civi 3, there may be a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. It reportedly has dual 32-megapixel selfie cameras.
According to a tip from Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Civi 3 is purportedly listed on the MIIT website under model number 23046PNC9C. According to Weibo screenshots of the listing, the smartphone could have 512GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM. The Xiaomi phone’s 5G connectivity and Android operating system were confirmed by the online listing. It does not, however, offer any additional information.
Although the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has not yet confirmed the Xiaomi Civi 3 launch, the listing on the MIIT website suggests that it may be done soon.
According to a previous leak, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will have a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. According to reports, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The device is expected to have a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary sensor as its focal point. Additionally, two front-facing 32-megapixel cameras with a 100-degree field of view are said to be included.
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version of the Xiaomi Civi 2 had a starting price of CNY 2,399 when it was introduced in China in September of last year.
The Xiaomi Civi 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm. It has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The device’s other key features include a 32-megapixel dual-front camera setup, a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, and a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor.
