The Xiaomi 14 Pro is reportedly in development, and it is anticipated to launch alongside the Xiaomi 14 in November of this year. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has not yet confirmed any information about the Xiaomi 14 series, but a reputable Chinese tipper has posted online some information about the devices’ cameras. Periscope zoom cameras are said to be included with the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. The handsets are anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship SoC. It is anticipated that the Xiaomi 14 Pro will have a 5,000mAh battery and support 50W wireless charging.
In his most recent post, the tipster asserted that the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro cameras would have periscope zoom capabilities. According to reports, the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s periscope telephoto camera has a 115mm focal length and 5x optical zoom. On the other hand, the standard Xiaomi 14 is anticipated to come equipped with a periscope telephoto camera with 3.9x optical zoom and 90mm focal length. However, the number of camera sensors and the pixel count are currently unknown.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will power the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, according to previous leaks. A 5,000mAh battery with 50W wireless charging support might power the Pro model. It is also rumored to be equipped with WLG High-Lens cameras.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 that were released earlier this year will likely be replaced by the Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14. Leica-branded triple rear cameras with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor, and a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor are featured on the Xiaomi 13 Pro.
A 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 10-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor are all part of the Xiaomi 13’s triple rear camera setup.
