On its upcoming Xiaomi 14 series, Xiaomi is already working. The alleged specifications of the series are already appearing in numerous renders and reports. However, a fresh leak has just appeared that makes some key hints about the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Pro model’s specifications. The next generation of the company’s flagship smartphones, the 14 series, will go on sale toward the end of this year.
Xiaomi has not yet made any information about the series public. But the most recent Digital Chat Station leak gives away some of its key technical details. On Weibo, the tipper posted information that includes some important details about the upcoming flagship phone. According to rumors, the SM8650 chip will be used in the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
In essence, it is Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The informant also states that the device will support 50W wireless fast charging and will ship with a sizable 5,000mAh battery. The device will offer two different wired fast charging rates, including a 90W and a 120W, according to the leak, though.
The inclusion of the WLG High-Lens cameras will give the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s camera module a noticeable upgrade, according to some prior reports. The Xiaomi 14 Pro will be available in two versions, one with a flat display and the other with a curved display. The two versions may therefore be compatible with the two different fast charging speeds.
