The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will go on sale on April 18. The company has officially announced a number of important details about its top-of-the-line, flagship smartphone. Leica-tuned camera sensors are present on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s rear panel, as was recently confirmed. The business recently confirmed that the quad-camera setup on its upcoming flagship smartphone will be present. Before it makes its debut, Xiaomi has now unveiled the design of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The new teasers confirm that the phone will initially be available in white and green.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s top portion of the rear panel has a two-step design, per the teasers posted on Weibo. A sizable circular camera module with four sensors, an LED flash, and Leica branding is housed in the raised portion. The Xiaomi 13 Pro (Review) also houses a 1-inch Sony IMX989 main camera, and Xiaomi has already confirmed that it will be used in the quad-camera setup.
According to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will support a variable aperture that will enable users to adjust the aperture at f/1.9 or f/4.0. Three Sony IMX858 sensors will make up the quad rear camera setup.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have a leather-like finish on the back panel, Xiaomi has also revealed. According to the design, a camera’s texture and feel are conveyed. Additionally, the upcoming flagship phone will have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The upcoming flagship phone’s additional specifications have previously leaked. According to reports, the phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. A 5000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging is most likely included. It is rumored to have a 6.7-inch WQHD+ AMOLED screen with support for 120Hz refresh rates. A 32-megapixel front camera will be housed in a hole-punch cutout in the center of the curved screen.
