In China, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra was first made available in April of this year. The phone should soon go on sale in Europe. It has the newest and fastest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The MIUI 14-powered phone’s distinctive selling point is a Leica-tuned quad camera unit on the back. The phone first became available in China in three limited-edition color options: Black, Green, and White.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is anticipated to go on sale in Europe for EUR 1,499, and there will only be one 12GB + 512GB variant available. The report also states that the smartphone will only be available in the continent in the colors black and green at launch. In June, the company might introduce the phone to European consumers.
The model was initially released in China in Black, Green, and White color schemes, but more recently, Xiaomi added three more limited-edition color choices: Chixia Orange, Ginkgo Yellow, and Starry Sky Blue.
The 12GB + 256GB base model costs CNY 5,999, while the 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB models are marked at CNY 6,499 and CNY 7,299, respectively.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a 6.73-inch AMOLED WQHD+ (3,200 x 1,440) display and boasts a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits.
An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 5G SoC, an Adreno 740 GPU, up to 16GB of LPPDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage power the dual nano SIM smartphone. The phone is powered by MIUI 14 on top of Android 13.
The Leica-tuned rear quad camera system has three 50-megapixel IMX858 sensors and a 1-inch 50-megapixel IMX989 sensor for optics. The cameras have six different focal length lenses and Leica-designed Summicron lenses. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s front camera is housed in a hole-punch cutout at the top of the display that is centered and has a 32-megapixel sensor.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has support for 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. Additionally, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
