Xiaomi recently released the MI 13, MI 13 Lite, and MI 13 Pro for the international market as promised. The company held an event in Barcelona before MWC to present a new line of MI goods, including smartphones, Watch S1 Pro, MIUI 14, Xiaomi CyberDog, and CyberOne. The new handhelds, however, were the focus of interest.
The MI 13 and MI Pro, two recent Xiaomi launches, had their debuts in China before being re-released elsewhere. On the other hand, MI 13 Lite has made its official appearance. The light version hasn’t seen any significant news yet, but the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro have a lot to share. Let’s start.
Xiaomi 13:
The Middle-sib has a 6.36-inch flat screen with FULL HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 1900 nits, and compatibility for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG Video in a small package. A 16MP selfie camera is located in the pinhole on top, while a biometric reader is located beneath the display.
A Snapodragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of quick UFS 4.0 storage powers the MI 13’s central processing unit. With heavy use, the VC liquid cooling system aids in heat dissipation. It uses a 4500mAh battery and a 67W power adaptor to recharge.
The MI 13 supports a LEICA-powered camera module with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide unit, and a 10MP telephoto unit for photography. The MI 13 starts at 999 EUR (272,000 PKR) and comes in three color options: Ceramic White, Ceramic Black, and Flora Green.
Xiaomi 13 Pro:
The Pro version takes superior photos. The rear camera system has a 50MP 1-inch main sensor, a 50MP Wide sensor, and a 50MP Telephoto sensor. A 16MP self-portrait sensor is located in the top center punch hole.
The MI 13 Pro has a large, curved AMOLED display of 6.73 inches with QHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a brightness of 1900 nits. A biometric reader is also concealed by the screen for security and speedy access.
The Pro Xiaomi 13 has the same SoC as the ordinary model, with 512GB and 12GB of storage as its maximum capacities (LPDDR5 and UFS 4.0). It uses a 4,820mAh battery and charges more quickly with 120W wired, 50W wireless, and up to 10W reverse wireless. It has Xiaomi’s Surge G1 processor for increased charging security. The price of the MI 13 Pro is 1,299 EUR (about 353,000 PKR).
The new Xiaomi Duo also has WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IR Blaster, an IP68 certification, compatibility with Android 13, a USB-C connector, and Dolby-tuned stereo speakers. Three years of OS upgrades and five years of security patches are now included in the chain’s software support policy. Teenagers in the nation frequently choose the 10C among the more economical options.
