A 15-person squad has been named by Cricket South Africa (CSA) for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, which will be held in India.
Quinton de Kock and David Miller, two well-known batters, have been named to the team, guaranteeing the presence of experience and firepower in the batting lineup. The Proteas will be captained by Temba Bavuma, and Rassie van der Dussen has also been chosen for the World Cup.
For additional batting firepower at the top, Reeza Hendricks and Aiden Markram have been included in the lineup. Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, and Anrich Nortje make up a potent fast-bowling trio, and they will be supported by Gerald Coetzee, Sisanda Magala, and Marco Jansen.
The team’s top spinners will be Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi, and Heinrich Klassen will serve as the backup wicketkeeper.
