
A WOMAN was sexually assaulted by an unknown person she met at a bus stop.
Police have now made a CCTV photograph of a man public who they need to speak with about the incident.
According to Gloucestershire Police, the victim and the suspect walked to the Horton Road neighbourhood where the man sexually assaulted her before running away.
The attack occurred between 8 and 8.40 p.m. in bushes next to the Gulf gas station off Horton Road in the city, according to the police.
According to the police, the victim was getting specialised care.
A black T-shirt with a yellow design, black jogging shorts, and black Adidas sliders are all that are mentioned as being on the man, who is either white or of mixed race.
He was carrying a black “man bag” and white carrier bag, police said.
A police spokesman said: “A man had met the victim at the bus station before they walked to the Horton Road area, where he raped her and fled.
“The victim is now receiving specialist support.
“The man is described as white or of mixed race, wearing a black t-shirt with yellow motif, black joggers and black Adidas sliders. He was carrying a black ‘man bag’ and white carrier bag.
