A 38-year-old Alabama man named Derrill Ennis was detained in 2016 for the first-degree murder of Lori Ann Slesinski, who vanished in 2006 and was never found. The true-crime show’s viewers have been impatiently waiting to find out Ennis’ location ever since CBS unveiled the episode’s official trailer.
So without further ado, let’s get started and learn more about Derrill Ennis, a man from Alabama, before the upcoming 48 Hours episode premieres on CBS.
Derrill Ennis’ incredible and terrifying tale first surfaced in June 2006. Derrill Ennis, who was originally from Auburn, Alabama, was said to have been a 28-year-old male at the time. According to rumours, he knew Lori Ann Slesinski.
Derrill was with Lori on the day of her disappearance, said Lindsay Braun, her closest friend. When she was on the phone with Lori Ann, she allegedly heard his voice in the background.
Authorities interrogated Ennis after Lori Ann vanished because he saw Lori on the day she vanished. Ennis, however, claimed to the authorities that she was in perfect condition when he last saw her.
However, during the investigation, Ennis’ bone-chilling past came to light.
According to reports, when he was just 12 years old, he killed both of his parents because they were going to relocate. For committing the unimaginable crime, he spent nine years in juvenile detention. When he became 21 years old, Ennis was allowed to go.
However, in the case of Lori Ann, the police were unable to gather any strong evidence implicating him in the crime, and the investigation was closed. Ennis mysteriously moved away from Alabama.
Where is Derrill Ennis now?
