Soldiers from the Queen’s Company, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, made up the bearer party.

Throughout the day, married father-of-one Jones walked in front of Her Majesty’s oak casket.
He has served two deployments in Afghanistan and Iraq and has had numerous encounters with the Queen.
Fletcher Cox, a Jersey native who was on his squad and sitting at the back of the coffin, was 19 years old.
Cox participated in the Army Cadet Force at his school and was given the Lieutenant-medal Governor’s in 2018, the highest honour a Jersey cadet can achieve.
