TEENAGERS Ivy Webster and Brittany Brewer raised concerns when they did not come home.
On Monday, May 1, 2023, an Amber Alert was issued, however their remains, along with five others, were discovered at the house of a convicted rapist in Oklahoma.
Who was Ivy Webster?
Ivy Webster, 14, was one of the adolescent females who did not come home to her parents on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
She was listed in an Amber Alert the next day after going missing with alleged rapist Jesse McFadden.
Ivy’s mother told a local news site that when she granted her daughter permission to stay over on Saturday night, she had no clue McFadden had such a terrible past.
According to FOX23, Ivy and Brittany were staying at McFadden’s house for a sleepover with his stepdaughter.
Brittany Brewer, 16, went missing alongside Ivy on Monday, May 1, 2023, and was also included in the Amber Alert.
Nathan, Brittany’s father, has come up in the aftermath of his daughter’s death.
“Brittany was an outgoing person,” he told a News on 6 reporter.
“She actually was selected to be Miss Henryetta coming up in July for this miss national pageant in Tulsa.
“And now she ain’t gonna make it because she’s dead. She’s gone.”
He added in another statement: “At this point, all I can say is for me and the Webster family, I know I don’t have the money to bury my daughter, and I know the Webster family doesn’t have the money to bury their daughter either.”
Ivy and Brittany’s remains, along with five others, were discovered at McFadden’s family home on May 1, 2023.
The finding was uncovered as police were examining the property in connection with the disappearance of the kids.
Ivy and Brittany were last seen on April 29, 2023, and an Amber Alert was issued shortly after their remains were discovered.
The girls were meant to go swimming on a ranch in McAlester but never arrived, prompting their worried family to notify authorities.
Jesse McFadden, 39, was a contractor and a registered sex offender who lived in Henryetta, Oklahoma, with his wife, daughter, and two boys.
He was imprisoned in the early 2000s after being convicted of first-degree rape in McAlester.
McFadden was in jail for almost 20 years before being released in October 2020, according to the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registry.
