Tragically, the young star died in July 2023 at the age of 22, leaving many to speculate as to what happened.
Who was YouTuber Annabelle Ham?
Annabelle Ham was an Atlanta, Georgia-based social media influencer and YouTuber.
She started her start on social media in May 2014, when she launched a YouTube channel.
She has over 77,000 subscribers and her videos have received over 1.9 million views since then.
Ham had a sizable following on other social media platforms, such as Instagram, where she frequently posted photos of her life at Kennesaw State University and her travels.
What happened to her?
On July 17, 2023, it was announced that Ham had died unexpectedly.
Her death was originally verified in a Facebook post by Kennesaw State University’s Alpha Omicron Pi fraternity, which stated that she died two days prior.
“Alpha Omicron Pi is mourning the loss of Annabelle Ham, Beta Zeta (Kennesaw State U), who passed away on July 15, 2023,” the post read.
“Annabelle lived a vibrant life, brought smiles into every situation, and was cherished by all who knew her.
“Our sisterhood is completely heartbroken for the Ham family and for a beautiful life tragically cut short.”
Despite confirming the young star’s death, the fraternity did not provide a cause.
Some online reports claim that she died in a car accident, but that information has not been confirmed as of this writing.
What content did she have on her YouTube?
Ham had a lively attitude, as evidenced by her YouTube videos.
Her page featured vlogs of her daily life as well as fashion and cosmetic tips.
In her final video, which was posted three weeks before her death, Ham recounted her experience with brow microblading, a type of permanent cosmetics.
“Today is going to be a fun
because I’m so excited to finally sit down and finally chat with you guys about something super cool,” she said in the almost 18-minute clip.
“For a long time now, I’ve wanted to get my eyebrows done… It was always just something I felt insecure about and I’m definitely the type of person that feels if you have the opportunity, the ability, the money, to go out and have work done that will make you feel more confident about yourself, I’m all for it.”
She went on to detail the procedure so her fans would know exactly what to expect if they wanted something similar done.
Her other videos included travel vlogs from Colorado, California, and Florida, as well as recordings of her trying on clothes for each season.
