In 1989, 18-year-old Tina Bell vanished without a trace.
The following year, her remains were uncovered, but her killer has never been identified.
Numerous appeals from the police and her family have failed, and although there were alleged sightings of her the day she vanished, there is still no conclusive proof.
What happened to Tina Bell?
Bell vanished in June 1989 near Billingham, Teeside, in an area known as the “Murder Mile” at the time due to a string of homicides that occurred there quickly.
At around 8.20 p.m., she departed her parents’ Billingham residence on Crescent Avenue.

The 18-year-old left with a friend after telling her parents Bob and Cath that she would be home by 10.30 p.m.
Despite this, it was their daughter’s last time seeing them.
In April 1990, her remains were discovered on a vacant lot close to her home.
In October 1990, she was buried at a grave in St. Cuthbert’s Church in Billingham.
A £25,000 reward was offered for information, but no trustworthy sources could be located.
Ten years after her disappearance, her parents Bob and Cath, as well as her brother John, issued an emotional media appeal.
John, Tina’s sister, issued yet another request in 2011.
She claimed that the good recollections of her beloved brother’s sister will always be marred by what had transpired.
Her sister has carried on the struggle for justice even though her parents have already passed away.
