He vanished in 2013, which prompted a thorough police investigation of the neighbourhood.
In 2023, the lookout for him was reopened.
What happened to Robert Duff?
He vanished while travelling to the event, which made his family worried and led them to call the police.
He was last observed taking cash out of an ATM on North London’s Holloway Road.
Divers using specialised equipment investigated Highgate No. 1 Pond on Hampstead Heath in 2020, but they came up empty.
Police suspect he may have been killed after engaging in a fight, but they haven’t discovered any evidence of his whereabouts.
In 2023, on the tenth anniversary of his disappearance, Metropolitan Police renewed the investigation.
The Specialist Crime Command’s Detective Inspector Tom Williams stated: “Robert’s family is in dire need of explanations, and we are dedicated to finding him.
“While current lines of inquiry have been exhausted, the case remains unsolved meaning that any new information received would be acted on and thoroughly investigated.”
Duff had two kids: Charlotte and Stephanie.
Stephanie thinks her father was murdered and demands an explanation from those responsible.
Speaking to The Sun she begged: “Please just finally have a heart and tell us where our dad is.
“We know you’ve killed him. We know he is dead.
“Just please tell us what happened so we can finally have peace.”
His eldest also disclosed during the interview that she has had three children since his disappearance, and was expecting a fourth.
