
Iyanla Vanzant, an inspirational speaker, has revealed the tragic passing of her youngest daughter Nisa.
Nisa’s passing was announced by Vanzant in an Instagram post that included a photo of a white candle that was burning.

Vanzant is a TV personality, life coach, and prolific author. She is best known for her appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show. In Brooklyn, New York City, on September 13, 1953, she was given the name Rhonda Eva Harris.
Sarah Jefferson and Horace Harris were her parents; her mother passed away from breast cancer in 1955. Her father’s side of the family raised her.
In 1983, she received the title “Iyanla,” which means “great mother,” after being ordained as a priestess in the Yoruba tradition.
