Early on Friday, a stalker from Texas entered a luxurious home in a Seattle suburb. He fatally shot the podcast host and her husband before turning the gun on himself.
About two in the morning, a trucker, 38, broke in through a window of the couple’s house in Redmond, a town about 15 miles east of Seattle, and started shooting, according to KING 5.
The shooter was named as Ramin Khodakaramrezaei by The Daily Mail, and the victims were Zohreh Sadeghi, 33, and her 35-year-old husband, Mohammed Naseri.
According to KOMO, the mother of the murdered woman argued with the shooter before running to a neighbour to dial 911.
According to the outlet, Naseri was found wounded in the chest when police arrived. He was lying on the front lawn. Despite receiving CPR, he was declared dead at the scene.
The outlet claims that when the police arrived, Naseri had a chest wound. On the front lawn, he was lying down. He received CPR, but was pronounced dead there and then.
“Apparently he got to know her because of a podcast that she was doing and they struck up kind of a friendship, talked,” she said.
“But then he began to just send a lot of messages to the point that she decided to disengage and talk to us and our investigators in getting a restraining order,” Green said.
She added that police could not serve the trucker with the order “because we weren’t able to make contact with him” in Texas.
When Sadeghi obtained the no-contact restraining order and her stalker arrived in Washington state is not immediately known.
Green said, “It’s just unfortunate that the stalking came to such a tragic end.
