Maddy Anholt was an actor, comedian, and author.
Her work with the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 were well-known, and she frequently appeared on This Morning.
The generous celebrity also served as a spokesperson for Women’s Aid and authored two books on toxic dating and domestic abuse.
Maddy authored an article for The Sun in 2022 about how to leave an unhealthy or abusive relationship while taking care of yourself.
She was also well-known for the Latitude Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, where she frequently performed her solo comedy performance.

Maddy unfortunately died away on September 13, 2023.
After receiving a diagnosis of the illness in 2022, she lost her battle with a rare brain cancer.
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Maddy Anholt, our beloved daughter, sister, twin, friend, wife, and mother, who left this world on Wednesday, September 13, aged 35,” her family wrote in a statement announcing her terrible passing.
“You may know that shortly after the birth of her incredible daughter Opal last year, Maddy was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.
“She handled the ensuing surgery and treatment with astonishing grace and courage, accompanied every step of the way by her family and devoted husband, Ben.
“She spent her final weeks at her parents’ home, Sunflower House, bathed in love and calm, and with the sounds of nature all around.
The family added: “We are overwhelmed with gratitude to the many friends who have upheld us with their love and prayers during this difficult time – as well as the countless nurses, doctors and the NHS as a whole, who treated her with unfailing dignity and compassion.
Who is Maddy Anholt’s husband Ben and did she have children?
Ben, Maddy’s husband, who “accompanied” her “every step of the way” during her struggle with cancer, is sorely missed.
She was also the mother of their daughter Opal.
