The discovery of a local mother of two deceased sparked a MURDER SUSPICIO.
When the police showed up at Kelley Clayton’s house, they discovered her dead body lying in a pool of her own blood.
Who was Kelley Clayton?
The late Kelley Clayton née Stage was an Elmira, New York, waitress who was born on August 1st, 1980.
Thomas Clayton, a hockey player, and 35-year-old Kelley were married for nine years.
Charlie and Crash were the names of the couple’s two children.
Her older sister Kimberley, who remembers Kelley as “brave, bold, and feisty,” also survives.
“She liked to dance, she was pretty. She could model and I just think that’s what she wanted to do,” the grieving sister remembered to ABC’s 20/20.
“We are 10 years apart. So she was kind of my baby. I was protective of her.”
Kelley is remembered for her love of gymnastics, fashion, and country music.
How she was killed?
Local law enforcement responded to a 911 call on September 29, 2015, and they discovered Kelley dead in her own kitchen.
Thomas Clayton, Kelley’s husband, was the one who dialled the police.
Police unexpectedly detained Thomas and his sidekick Michael Beard.
It emerges out that Thomas paid Beard $10,000 to kill his late wife.
Thomas was convicted guilty of first-degree murder on February 23, 2017, and he was given a life sentence without the possibility of release.
At Sing Sing Prison in Ossining, New York, he is currently incarcerated for life.
Additionally, Michael Beard was determined to have committed both first- and second-degree murder.
He is currently incarcerated at Auburn Correctional Facility after receiving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
