After receiving a phone call from someone asking her to leave her home in western Mexico, a TikToker was shot and killed.
According to the Sinaloa State Attorney General’s Office, Karla Pardini, 21, was attacked and shot numerous times close to her Culiacan home on September 20.
On the night of the murder, Pardini’s mother informed police that her daughter had picked up a call at around 10:30 p.m.
At the crossroads of Catédraticos and Ignacio López Rayón streets in Tierra Blanca’s Culiacán area, the influencer’s body was discovered by the side of the road.
Before Pardini was killed, witnesses reported seeing numerous armed people wandering the area.
‘We registered it as a femicide in virtue of the fact that she was exposed and was in a state of helplessness when the attack took place,’ Sinaloa State Attorney General Sara Quiñonez told reporters Friday.
Investigators have not revealed the name of the person who shot Pardini.
‘We have reserved everything,’ Quiñonez. ‘We are doing the investigation following the utmost secrecy so as not to alert the possible suspect.’
No arrests had been made as on Monday.
