On November 3, 1972, Gustavo Badell was born in Venezuela and later emigrated to Puerto Rico. Involved in the International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB) was the professional bodybuilder.
The sportsperson “is regarded by many as one of the best professional bodybuilders of all time,” according to Greatest Physiques. The outlet claims that as a child, he participated in a variety of contact sports and particularly loved boxing, but that he was “too skinny to make his mark.”
Badell started lifting weights “to build his body mass and gained size and strength very quickly.”
He then went on to have a successful career in bodybuilding.
He finished in the top three at the Mr. Olympia competitions in 2004 and 2005, according to his Instagram bio. In 2005, he won the Mr. Olympia Challenge Round and finished in the top three at the Arnold Classic.
