When ASHLEY Tropez was a teenager, she had an appearance on the programme Beyond Scared Straight.
But according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, on August 26, 2022, authorities discovered Tropez dead with “traumatic injuries” at an abandoned residence in Victorville, California.
Who was Ashley Tropez?
The reality programme Beyond Scared Straight, which was created to educate young people who could be at danger what it would be like to spend time in prison, is where Ashley Tropez made her most well-known appearances.
Inmates spoke about the realities of jail life on the show in an effort to deter viewers from a life of crime.
Tropez didn’t post a lot of information about her life online after the programme, but we do know that she was between 24 and 28 years old when she passed away.
A screenshot from the Beyond Scared Straight episode where Tropez made her debut displays a natural black-and-white photo of the actress grinning with some of her purported offences from the period.
Tropez asserted that she was put on the programme as a result of her reportedly “fighting, getting into problems, and selling cannabis.”
When she appeared on the show, she was still a minor because she was just 17 years old.
Tropez talked about her time there a year after making her TV debut, claiming that her sojourn to the penitentiary had no lasting impact on her.

In relation to Tropez’s death, one person has been detained and charged with murder.
That woman is Alexis Call, 24, who was detained after police discovered what they believed to be the two squatting together in the house prior to Tropez’s demise.
According to officials, Call was charged with murder and is currently being held at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, California.
At this moment, there is no known reason for the murder.

Beyond Scared Straight “follows kids who pride themselves on negative behaviour ranging from theft, drugs, promiscuity, gang affiliation, violence, and arson,” according to a synopsis given by A&E.
These rebellious teenagers are made to spend a day (and perhaps a night) in jail where they meet with criminals who give them first-hand accounts of what it’s like to live there in the hopes that they would get insight into the potential consequences of the destructive course they are on.
