The tragic passing of Alicia Allain, an actress who lost her battle with cancer, shocked the movie business.
Emotional tributes poured in for the US actress, who was best known for being married to Dukes of Hazzard actor John Schneider.
Who was Alicia Allain?
American actress and producer Alicia Allain is best known for her work on the films Leather Jackets, Caged Fear, and The Badge.
Born in South Louisiana, the 53-year-old went on to found her own entertainment business, Maven Entertainment.
In 2019, she wed actor and country music performer John Schneider.
The devoted couple started dating in 2015 and collaborated on eight movies.
John posted a touching tribute to Alicia on his Instagram account despite the Schneider family’s public request to respect their privacy and their decision not to comment.
The post included two images: one of the late Alicia grinning at the camera, and the other of the couple holding hands.
John uttered: “My lovely Smile, who lives in her new body with Jesus, is pain-free.
“Please respect our need for privacy at this difficult time.
“Please do not ask any questions and if you have any pictures of us and our obvious love and adoration for each other, please post them below.
“Lastly… hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel.
“We always did.”

After a four-year battle with breast cancer, Alicia Allain passed away.
Fox40 Jackson reports that Alicia received her stage 4 HER2 negative breast cancer diagnosis in 2019.
According to reports, the woman’s doctors gave her five years to live.
Alicia tried to spread awareness of the illness by being open about her treatment.
She told Fox and Friends: “I went into like a speed course of reading what path I was going to take.
“I really got into a really rigid regime.”
Tragically, she lost her battle with cancer and died on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
