After being charged with killing TikTok star Mama Tot’s son at a gas station with a gun, a 20-year-old suspect turned himself in to the Mobile County Metro Jail on Thursday night. This information has also been confirmed by the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office.
Investigators’ opinions on whether Reuben Gulley was responsible for shooting Randon Lee, 18, remain ambiguous. On June 24, at around 7:45 p.m., a sad shooting took place on Saint Stephens Road.
According to Prichard Police, Mama Tot’s son was at a gas station when another car drew up and someone inside started firing at Lee. The police think Lee went to the spot to meet up with two persons to sell marijuana.
According to Fox 10, a murder warrant was issued on August 4 for Reuben Gulley.

Mama Tot’s encouraging words are popular on TikTok
Ophelia Nichols, better known as Mama Tot, has a TikTok account under the alias shoelover99. On the video-sharing site, she now has around 7 million followers.
By taking part in well-liked trends and challenges, the TikToker got their start on the site. As she gained followers on the platform, Mama Tot started commenting on producers’ videos that talked about their challenging life experiences. Nichols frequently gave encouraging remarks.
Her “good demeanour” won over fans of the TikTok phenomenon, who started requesting help in her comment area. Mama Tot would make an effort to reply in kind.
A few days after her son’s passing, she took to Facebook to say:
“Please don’t think badly of my son for the circumstances of how he was taken. We are not ashamed of him, and never will be. When I was 18, I made poor choices myself. I think of the person who did this to my son and have empathy for his family once they find out. Others may not think I should, but now there will be two families that are hurt and broken. It won’t just be mine. This person will be held accountable, I believe that. So I will hold my faith close and my family in times of despair. It’s all we have.”
The influencer asked for assistance in locating the shooter of her baby on her TikTok account as well. In a video that received over 23 million views, she stated:
“There’s almost 7 million people that follow me. Somebody’s gotta know something. Today would have been my baby child’s 19th birthday. But he was took from me last night. Took from my children and my husband and our family. I have this hatred in my heart that I don’t recognize because I’ve never felt hate for anybody.”
