VIC DARK is one of the most notorious criminals in the UK.
He’s been incarcerated for a long time. What is known about his life is as follows.
Who is Vic Dark?
On April 12, 1957, Vic Dark, an ex-armed robber, was born.
He was raised in Forestgate, Stratford, in East London, together with his Maltese father and English mother. He also had a sibling there.
At the age of 17, he began robbing building societies.
He decided to keep going because it was exciting and easy money.
He was placed on remand for a stabbing when he was 20 years old.
However, he continued living a life of crime unabated.
Dark has had a “adrenaline-fueled career as an armed robber,” according to his website.
He claims that his “willingness to take great risks, combined with a solder-like capacity to devise watertight schemes and to execute them with chilling coolness,” is the reason for his successful criminal career.
When an attempted armed robbery failed, Dark was apprehended for the final time.
He talked to Danny Dyer and told him about his 21 years in prison.
Four months for actual bodily harm (ABH), three years for a stabbing (GBH), and twelve years for an armed robbery of a bank, three sorting offices, and a security vehicle made up this sentence.
The majority of the nation’s jails, including Pentonville, Belmarsh, Brixton, and Wormwood Scrubs, have housed him.
He shot David Blunt, the owner of The Penthouse nightclub, who fortunately survived, during a raid on the establishment in 1988.
In order to save his injured partner, he put saving him ahead of the money and took the victim outdoors, leaving the cash behind—a choice he now regrets.
He increased his peril by seizing a police car and holding a copper hostage.
He received a 15-year sentence.
He was categorised as Category A while serving his sentence, which prevented him from being eligible for parole.
