This is an examination of his life, his incarceration, and his current activities.

Who is Tony Gooch?

On May 12, 1983, Anthony Gooch was born in London.

Gooch began committing crimes at an early age and was expelled from five secondary schools in addition to receiving multiple prison sentences in juvenile detention facilities.

around the course of his 17-year illegal career, Tony developed connections with criminal gangs all around the United Kingdom.

After spending over nine years in prison, he made the decision to change his ways and started the Think First Campaign, which teaches kids about the risks of a life of crime and motivates them to stay in school in order to succeed.

Speaking about the British prison system, Tony said: “Probation is just an absolute waste of time and I don’t think there’s enough support for young offenders.

“We’ve got one of the highest reoffending rates in Europe.

“You can’t help everyone, but I do believe that a large proportion of young offenders we could be helping.

“We’re doing nothing for them and it’s costing the tax-payer £35-40,000 per prisoner a year.

“At the minute we’re at an all-time high on prisoners, so how much money are we wasting? It’s ridiculous!”

Gooch founded A.R.T Productions, a production company that creates documentaries on a variety of topics, including traveler communities, eating disorders, and mental health.

According to IMDb, he has made appearances on several podcasts and social media programs that have received close to 750,000 views.

Tony has a lot of skills at his disposal because he spent nine years competing in mixed martial arts.

One of the most talked-about stars of ITV’s Inside Prison: Britain Behind Bars, which debuted in 2019, was the former inmate of HMP Bullingdon.
