Scientists will dissect the mother-of-two’s body tonight on Channel 4 as part of a rerun of a British television documentary.
1) Who is Toni Crews?
Oni Crews passed away at the age of 30 from an extremely unusual malignancy that started in her tear gland.
On her Instagram feed, blingkofaneye_, she later shared images showing the tumor’s growth in order to raise awareness of her condition.
The woman from Kent regrettably passed away in 2020, but she donated her body to scientists to aid in the fight against the illness, enabling it to be examined in the TV show My Dead Body.
2) What happened to Toni Crews’ eye?
After being identified as having adenocarcinoma, a form of cancer that had grown across her face, Toni was obliged to have her eye removed.
She first realized her eye was consistently swollen and her eyesight was becoming fuzzy in 2016.
A tumor behind her eye was discovered via an MRI scan and later diagnosed as cancer.
In an effort to stop the cancer from spreading, her right eye and the tumor behind it were removed as a result.
Scan results in 2020 showed that it had returned to her skin and lungs.
3) Is Toni Crew married and does she have children?
Toni was a young mother of two who lived alone.
Charlie and Faith were eight and seven years old, respectively, at the time of her death.
