When Savannah LaBrant, Everleigh’s mother, was just 19 years old, she became pregnant with Tommy’s child.
In a book that she co-wrote with her future husband, Cole, Savannah described how she was “scared to death” when she discovered she was expecting.
“Tommy, however, seemed oddly excited about it,” Savannah wrote in Cole & Sav: Our Surprising Love Story.
“He even talked about us getting married. My parents never would have gone for that because they were not overly fond of Tommy. Telling my parents I was pregnant with his child was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.”
In a 2018 interview with People, she claimed that Tommy had cheated on her repeatedly.
She claimed to have reared Everleigh with the help of her mother.
In the next chapter of the book, Savannah continues to talk about her relationship with Tommy, stating: “Around my sixth month of pregnancy, I learnt Tommy, who had been ready to get married when he found out I was pregnant, was suddenly cheating on me.”

She shared a picture of the father-daughter pair and said, “Our hearts are terribly heavy as we absorb the death of Everleigh’s dad, Tommy.”
