Todd Krinsky was named the new CEO of Reebok on September 7, 2022, according to a statement from Sparc Group, a full-service lifestyle label operating business. In 2023, Todd Krinsky will succeed Matt O’Toole, who has worked for the label for more than 15 years and will advance in his career at Authentic Brands Group, the new parent company of Reebok. As Executive Vice Chairman, O’Toole will join Authentic Brands.
Todd Krinsky has also held a number of positions at the Bolton-based sportswear behemoth for more than three decades, including that of a prestigious member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team for more than ten years. His most recent position before that was SVP of Reebok Design Group (RDG). Krinsky will assume the new position and guide the group by putting new business development initiatives in place, such as one-of-a-kind partnerships and brand activations.
All you need to know about the new CEO of Reebok, Todd Krinsky
With more than three decades, Todd Krinsky has worked for the sportswear brand. At the age of 16, he began selling shoes after beginning his career in the mail office. He was transferred to the product development department, where he built shoes because he was an avid shoe collector, basketball player, and salesman.
His next move was to study manufacturing in Asia at an R&D facility in Korea before returning to the United States in 1999.
He collaborated with Paul Fireman in 2001 to develop the label’s youth culture strategy, and was tasked with overseeing the RBK music and basketball industries. In order to encourage kids and connect with them, he invited well-known figures like 50 Cent and Jay-Z.
He most recently held the position of Vice President of the label until being promoted to General Manager of the Performance Business Unit in 2018. Reebok’s traditional business grew by double digits year over year under his direction.
Congrats to my man Todd Krinsky who was just named the new CEO of @Reebok. I also want to give a shoutout to Matt O’Toole who has been the President and CEO of Reebok for the last 15 years and is joining the Authentic Brands family in 2023. Good luck to both! pic.twitter.com/4z4UATwKQV

In addition, Krinsky oversaw the expansion of Reebok’s Classics division, which was founded on an emphasis on enduring styles like the Club C and Classic Leather. Krinsky discussed his newly created position at the label in an official press release.
“I am excited to step into my new role as CEO of a brand and business that I have had the honor of building and growing for over three decades. When I walked through the doors on my first day as a Reebok intern, I was immediately awestruck by the brand’s dedication to innovation and authenticity. I look forward to working with the entire Reebok team to unleash the full potential of Reebok worldwide.”
Krinsky will continue to work from the company’s Boston, Massachusetts, headquarters in his new position. Marc Miller, the CEO of Sparc Group, will get his reports. Marc Miller also discussed the appointment of Krinsky,
“Preserving Reebok’s core values was an important focus as we enhanced the brand’s Senior Leadership Team. Todd is a product visionary who brings tremendous credibility in the athletic industry, and we are confident that he will usher in the next wave of Reebok’s expansion.”
The Senior Leadership Team has gained two additional members in addition to Krinsky, according to Sparc Group. At RDG, Erika Swan has received a promotion to Senior Vice President of Global Operations and Sourcing, and John Moore has just been given the position of Senior Vice President, U.S. Commercial Market.
