Shira Haas, an Israeli actress, rose to fame thanks to her appearances in regional movies and television. She is the recipient of two Israeli Ophir Awards and received praise all around the world for her performance in the Netflix miniseries Unorthodox.
In addition to winning the Tribeca Film Festival Award for Best International Actress for her portrayal in the Israeli drama film Asia, she has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and other awards.

Shira Haas’ Marvel character
Shira Haas will be playing the role of Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra in Marvel Studios’ Captain America: New World Order. In the comics, Sabra was the first human super-agent to serve in the Israeli Mossad.
There has been criticism around the character’s inclusion in the comics, but Marvel told Variety that it is taking a “fresh approach” with Sabra for the big screen. They revealed:
Sabra made her comic book debut in The Incredible Hulk at the beginning of the 1980s. She caused controversy by bringing the Israeli-Palestinian issue into the Marvel comics universe.
Sabra, who killed a Palestinian youngster in the 1981 Hulk comic, initially shown no regret before the Hulk taught her about moral principles.
