JAKE PAUL will fight Nate Diaz in a rematch this weekend in the boxing ring.
Paul will be fighting for the eighth time as a professional, and he’ll be hoping to improve to 7-1.
His last defeat came earlier this year against Tommy Fury, but now the Problem Child will face MMA superstar Diaz.
Diaz rose to prominence in the UFC, where he fought twice against Conor McGregor while under Dana White’s management.
With his fight against Paul, he makes his professional boxing debut.
But Paul is more experienced in the squared circle than Diaz, and he’ll have Shane Mosley in his corner to assist him out on fight night.
Who is Shane Mosley?
Mosley is a three-time world champion, having held belts at lightweight, welterweight, and super-welterweight.
In 1997, he defeated Philip Holiday to win his first world title, the IBF lightweight strap.
Mosley, 51, fought Vernon Forrest, Winky Wright, Fernando Vargas, Miguel Cotto, and Ricardo Mayorga, among others.
After knocking out Antonio Margarito, he went on to capture the WBA welterweight title.
Mosley faced Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, and Canelo Alvarez in three of his most important fights, all of which he lost by decision.
Mosley brutally rocked Mayweather twice in their battle, but he failed to follow up his assaults and was ultimately outclassed.
Mosley announced his retirement from boxing in 2016 after losing to David Avanesyan.
Mosley is now training and working alongside Jake Paul.
