The 22-year-old demonstrates to his followers how easy it is to get fit and healthy without overthinking it.
Who is Sean Casey?
Sean Casey, a fitness instructor from Banbridge, is 22 years old.
He is also the head coach of The Sean Casey Academy and the owner of SC Social Circle, a social media growth course.
Casey became interested in health and fitness after gaining some weight after graduating from high school.
However, he wanted to know what really works when it comes to getting in shape, which is what led him on his fitness journey.
He began documenting his workouts on his TikTok account.
On his Instagram account @scaseyfitness, he now has 20.4 million likes and 2.3 million followers.
When asked about his fitness journey, he told Belfast Live: “I wanted to lose weight and get back in shape, but with so many fad diets and bad fitness advice out there, it took me a while to figure out what actually works.
“I was also living in the Holylands while attending university, so it didn’t really fit in with my fitness goals.
“It was only January 2020 when I ditched the Buckfast for a protein shake and spent more time in the gym and less time in Thompson’s.”
He continued: “I think many people associate fitness with something they can’t do because they can’t commit to healthy eating and exercise.
“I’m here to show people that with a few simple swaps and lifestyle changes you can achieve your fitness goals without having to dedicate your whole life to it.
“I’m trying to be a normal approachable person that teaches people about fitness in the most simple way possible while having a bit of craic and a laugh along the way.”
