The last time Farias’ mother saw her son was on March 6, 2015, about 6 o’clock, when he left to walk his two dogs.
One of the pets returned hours after Rudy had left the house, and the second dog did so the following day.
However, Farias didn’t come back, which caused a great deal of worry and a hasty search.
In an effort to find the boy, investigators and searchers combed fields.
Officers conducted an investigation but found no evidence of wrongdoing.

The Texas Center for the Missing stated that on July 2, 2023, Farias, who is now 25 years old, was found to be safe.
His mother told the neighborhood ABC affiliate KTRK that he was discovered unconscious and with scratches and bruises all over his body outside a church.
Her son had blood in his hair, she also revealed.
He is in a hospital getting better.
Although the cause of his disappearance has not been determined, family members told NBC that he battled melancholy, especially after the loss of his older brother in a motorcycle accident years prior to his own disappearance.
Brenda Paradise, a private investigator hired by the Farias’, said in April 2015: “He watched his best friend die right in front of him.
“His brother was his best friend in the world. He’s just gone through so much more than anyone his age ever should.”
Texas EquuSearch director Tim Miller told KPRC called the latest development a miracle.
Miller said: “How did this happen? We believe in miracles and this certainly was a miracle.
“I can’t even tell you how many times we searched and how many leads and tips came in and they just kind of faded away and now all of a sudden, this.”
