Richard “Richie” Fletcher III, a fellow Tennessee native, and teacher Eliza Fletcher got married in March 2014.
At Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis, the couple was married.
Richie was working as a project coordinator for Tioga Environmental Consultants at the time.
At Memphis Boat Center, he has since advanced to the position of dealership manager.
After becoming legally married, Richie and Eliza had two children together.
Richie and Eliza marked their eighth wedding anniversary in March 2022.
The former uploaded a picture of himself and his wife to Instagram along with the caption, “8 years in the making with this blazing sexy babe! Couldn’t imagine wanting it any other way.
With her own post, Eliza shared similar thoughts and wrote: “Today marks 8 years that I’ve been married to @fletch livves.
“To say it has all been rainbows, prettiness, Hollywood movies, and easy would be a lie.
“I am grateful for every 2922 day of these 8 years. We have worked hard, showed up, failed, forgiven, and loved.”
The late teacher added: “Thank you Richie! Love you! Lets make a beautiful mess of many more years together.”
