Newcomer Rebecca Lightbody to the BAKE Off has joined the lucky dozen in an effort to win over judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood in the renowned tent.
Rebs, who grew up in a rural area of Northern Ireland, is passionate about all things Irish and can play the tin whistle and Irish dancing.
The Irish tech worker Rebs, however, also has a love for travel, as evidenced by her Insagram account, which chronicles her travels.
She has shared glitzy bikini pictures and photos from dream vacation spots showcasing her fashionable outfit.
The 23-year-old has recently shared photos from posts she took in Turkey, Italy, Morocco, and Spain. She has made sure to offer stunning images from her travels by taking pictures of mountains, sunsets, and, of course, cuisine.
Her Turkish-born boyfriend Jack is the inspiration for her new experiments with Middle Eastern ingredients, according to the talented cook.
Rebs has since disclosed that her earliest baking memory is of helping her mother bake when she was just three years old and tasting her grandmother’s well-known lemon meringue tarts.
She claimed that baking helps her relax from the strain of a hectic existence in the tech industry.
Today at 8 p.m., The Great British Bake Off will return, and judge Paul Hollywood has teased a delectable new twist for the venerable culinary programme.
On one of the numerous firsts for the Channel 4 show, the well-known baker, 56, gave an interview.
Best Magazine questioned Paul on any new developments viewers may anticipate from the show this year.
“Mexican week was one of my favourites since the challenges are outstanding,” the “bread king” frankly retorted.
“What they created was very, very good – on a par with what I had in Mexico only a couple of weeks before making Paul Hollywood Eats Mexico.”
