
On August 18 at 03:30 a.m. ET, the first three episodes of Selena + Chef Season 4 will debut on HBO Max. Selena Gomez will be teaching famous chefs how to prepare summery cuisine via video calls in a Malibu beach house during the course of the series.
Ten chefs will be featured in the show’s fourth season. Selena will learn how to prepare dahi toast with cilantro chutney from New York Times best-selling author Priya Krishna, who will also appear on the programme.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Priya Krishna is a cookbook author. She is a Times Food staff reporter, and in 2019 and 2021, “The Best American Food Writing” published pieces of her writing.
At Greenhill School, Priya completed her education. Her undergraduate work at Dartmouth College focused on international relations and affairs. Her French degree is from the same university.
In 2013, Priya worked as a prep cook at Murphy’s on the Green. She has also spent three years as Lucky Peach’s marketing manager. She has worked for TASTE, Eater, and The New Yorker. She is also a very well-known YouTube personality.
Her books Cooking at Home: Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying About Recipes and Indian-ish are New York Times bestsellers (And Love My Microwave). Before departing in 2020 due to racial wage disparity, Krishna had also worked for Bon Appétit’s cookery YouTube channel in 2018.
