Who is Paul Williams?
Following the unexpected passing of Emma Pattison on January 5, 2023, Paul Williams was named acting headteacher of Epsom College.
He graduated from Durham University with a Bachelor of Science, according to the college’s website.
The alumni association at the university is called Dunelm. The name of your degree is derived from the Latin word dunelmensis, which means “of or from Durham.”
What happened to Emma Pattison?
Police discovered Pattison, her husband George, and their 7-year-old daughter Lettie dead on February 5, 2023.
In September 2022, Pattison was named the institution’s first female head of school.
From 2016 to 2022, I served as the headteacher of Croydon High School for six years.
Police feel that there was no participation from outside parties in this singular event.
She has been referred to as a “delightful” lady and a “great teacher.”
Epsom College’s Board of Governors Chair, Dr. Alastair Wells, issued the following statement on behalf of the entire institution: “I wish to express our profound shock and sadness at this tragic news.
“Our immediate thoughts and condolences are with Emma’s family, friends and loved ones, and to the many pupils and colleagues whose lives she enriched throughout her distinguished career.
According to Companies House, Pattison’s husband George was a chartered accountant who, at the time of his passing, was employed for the management consulting business Tanglewood 2016.
Her most recent social media post was a celebration of the school’s recent, prestigious award win.
In December, she told the students that the family had purchased a Labrador puppy named Bella to live with them on the school premises.
