Olivia Julianna used Matt Gaetz’s attack on her after he body shamed her to find money for an abortion. After Matt tweeted a picture of Olivia with the caption “Dander raised,” the 19-year-old was successful in raising more than $1.3 million in less than 72 hours. Additionally, the Republican congressman from Florida retweeted an interview in which he was questioned about whether or not he had described the pro-abortion protesters as “ugly and overweight.” “Yes,” he answered.
When Matt posed the question, “Why is it that the women with the lowest chances of becoming pregnant are the ones most concerned about having abortions?,” on July 24 at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, things really got going. If you resemble a thumb, no one wants to become pregnant with you! These individuals are repulsive on the inside and out. Give me my abortions or I’ll get up and march and protest, they say, standing about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 350 pounds. Olivia caught wind of this outburst and criticised Matt’s remarks on Twitter, writing, “It has come to my attention that Matt Gaetz – suspected paedophile — has claimed that it’s usually the ‘odious… 5’2″ 350 pound” women that ‘nobody wants to impregnate.'”
Matt Gaetz, somehow not talking about Trump: "We welcome all retirees [in Florida], except maybe one … though he's real rich, though he grifted off of our taxpayers and off our government and off of lies for years …" pic.twitter.com/ik4594yUut

Its come to my attention that Matt Gaetz — alleged pedophile— has said that it’s always the “odious.. 5’2 350 pound” women that “nobody wants to impregnate” who rally for abortion.
I’m actually 5’11. 6’4 in heels. I wear them so the small men like you are reminded of your place

After some time had passed, Matt, who wasn’t mentioned in Olivia’s tweet, reposted a story in which he shared a screenshot of Olivia’s profile photo with the phrase “Dander risen.”
To which, she responded by saying, “In honor of Matt Gaetz publicly body shaming me, I’ll be fundraising for the @genzforchange abortion fund. The Gen-Z for Choice fund splits donations across states where services are most needed.”

Olivia raises over $1.3M in abortion funds
At the time of this article’s publication, the “Gen-Z for Choice” fund had amassed nearly $1.3 million. Olivia tweeted when she met her $500k goal: “Well, @mattgaetz, I must give you credit. I didn’t think you were interested in abortion rights activists, yet your attention to me over the past 24 hours has enabled $50K to be raised for abortion funds! I therefore designed you a unique thank-you card. It nearly seems as though Matt Gaetz supports abortion.”
Well @mattgaetz, I have to hand it to you. I didn’t think you cared about us abortion rights activists, but your spotlight on me has helped raise $50K for abortion funds in the last 24 hours! So I made you a special thank you card ❤️

Olivia Julianna praised them when the activist’s fundraising efforts reached $1.1 million as more contributions poured in as a result of the Reid Out interview. She tweeted, “Thank you @JoyAnnReid!” “Due to a harsh remark, we raised $1.1 million in under 72 hours. On July 29, she tweeted, “Imagine what we can accomplish with a full year of preparation to elect Democrats around the country.
Thank you @JoyAnnReid!
