Who is Aileen Hnatiuk?
Aileen Hnatiuk works as a sportscaster for WFLA in Tampa, Florida.
She graduated from East Carolina University and began her career in the mid-2010s at WNCN, ESPN, WITN-TV, NBC29, and CBS Sports.
Hnatiuk joined the WFLA team in Tampa in July 2023, which was a homecoming in and of itself because it was the same station she grew up watching.

Prior to reporting from the sidelines, Hnatiuk was a standout athlete on the volleyball court.
She was nominated to the 2013 FACA All-Star team, was a 3A Regional Semifinalist, and helped lead the Hurricanes to an 18-7 record her senior year while attending Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School.
According to her LinkedIn page, Hnatiuk also played volleyball in college at East Carolina University and worked as the team’s play-by-play announcer.

Hnatiuk is well-known for his coverage of Tom Brady’s old team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
She covers the NFL as well as several other local teams, including the Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Rowdies, and University of South Florida Bulls.
Who is Aileen’s father, Glen Hnatiuk?
While Hnatiuk was a volleyball superstar, she is not the only athlete in her family.
She is the daughter of professional golfer Glen Hnatiuk of Selkirk, Canada.
Hnatiuk’s father, a University of Southern Mississippi alumnus, turned pro in 1990 and has competed in over 175 PGA Tour events.
According to his biography, he has six Top 10 finishes, one third-place result, and one Top 5 finish, earning him almost $2.4 million.
Glen also won four Nike Tour races during his career.
