Natalia Salas, an actress from Peru, recently made her breast cancer diagnosis public. On September 10, she would have a mastectomy, she announced in a video posted to her social media accounts.
In the video, she claimed that in July she went to a physician because she was bleeding from her breasts. The actress continued,
“They sent me for an ultrasound, then they asked me to have an MRI, finally a biopsy. My diagnosis is breast cancer and I require surgical treatment.”

Salas sent her admirers a message on Instagram before having surgery. She said she had no remorse over removing one of her breasts because she thought it was the final day she would live in her body. She continued:
“The first step on this path that begins tomorrow. Today I give way to a new version of me that will fight like it has never fought and will be powerful….renovative. And triumphant! Thank you so many shows of love, support, prayer and more. #ConTodoMenosMiedo.”
Natalia was out of the operating room and there had been no issues, according to Sergio Coloma, her husband, who made the announcement in the afternoon of September 10.

Natalia Salas, who was born on August 23, 1987, is well-known for her role in the American television programme Al fondo hay Iugar. She had a passion for music before beginning her acting career, and she took part in the singing competition Worth Dreaming.
With a supporting role in the 2007 Peruvian drama Rita y Yo, Salas made her television debut. Other well-known actors from the show included Cesar Ritter, Jimena Lindo, Gustavo Bueno, Jorge Chiarella, and others. In April 2007, it was finished. She continued to make appearances in programmes like Grafitti, Placeres y Tentaciones, and Asi es la vida.
Natalia Salas became well-known for her role as Andrea Aguirre in the 2010 television programme Al fondo hay Iugar. It was the first performance in Peru that combined comedy, drama, suspense, action, and sad aspects. The programme ran for 8 seasons, from its March 30, 2009, debut, through its December 8, 2016, last episode.

On June 22, 2022, Al fondo hay Iugar’s ninth season was released. El Comercio has nominated it for 9 prizes and given it 22 accolades. Irma Maury, Monic Sanchez, Mayra Couto, Gustavo Bueno, David Almandoz, Karina Calmet, and other actors make up the rest of the cast of the programme.
Additionally, Salas appeared in the musicals Chicago and Love Without Barriers (West Side Story). She performed in the 2013 musical El Chico de Oz and the movie El Buen Pedro, among other roles.
She competed on The Artist of the Year in 2019 and hosted El programme following the show the same year alongside Edson Davila Giselo, Renzo Schuller, and Ethel Pozo.
