Three of Lizzo’s background dancers have sued her for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment as of Tuesday, August 1. They also asserted that the singer, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, fired a dancer after body-shaming her for putting on weight despite her unwavering support for “body positivity.” Lizzo and Myke Wright are reportedly dating.
Myke Wright: Who is he?
A comedian, singer, actor, and artist, Myke Wright. He has acted in the motion pictures Breaking & Entering, How to Be a Grown Up, and Doubting Thomas. “I think you should always go beyond your comfort zone. Because of this, many people are aware of my specialization in a variety of fields,” Wright said in an interview.
The Detroit-born entertainer reportedly moved to Los Angeles after earning his college art degree. It was enjoyable to start over from scratch in a strange city with no familiar landmarks. Wright told VoyageLA that there was plenty of room for imagination, experimentation, and creativity.
Another thing that Wright and Lizzo have in common is their love of music. He was a member of the alternative hip-hop group Phresh Air and the rock band The Grey Level in high school.
Lizzo and Wright had been linked before they were spotted eating dinner together in Los Angeles on Valentine’s Day, which sparked relationship rumors. In October 2021, the couple was spotted out together at Crustacean Beverly Hills.
Since then, Wright has occasionally appeared with Lizzo, most notably at the FYC event for her Watch Out for the Big Grrrls Amazon Prime series and the 2022 MTV VMAs, where she won an award.
The couple sat close to one another throughout the music awards show, walked the red carpet together, and attended the Pre-GRAMMY Gala in February 2023. They made their Grammys debut at this event. Lizzo later shared a few pictures of them along with the hashtag “Hard Launch” on Instagram.
