Who is Mike Rotunda, the father of Bray Wyatt?
On March 30, 1958, Mike Rotunda was born in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He is a former professional wrestler who gained the most notoriety during his time competing for the WWE under the ring names Michael Wallstreet, Irwin R. Schyster, and V.K. Wallstreet.
In 2003, Rotunda announced his retirement from the professional wrestling industry. A year later, he and his wife launched their own security firm.
He was enshrined in the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in July 2022.

Rotunda is wed to Stephanie Windham, a wrestler’s child and the daughter of Blackjack Mulligan.

WWE’s chief content officer, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, announced the death of Bray Wyatt on X on August 24, 2023.
“Our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt, unexpectedly passed away earlier today,” he wrote. “Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda,” he added.
“Our thoughts are with his family, and we ask that everyone respect their right to privacy at this time.”
The 36-year-old first joined the WWE in 2009 but hasn’t competed in a while due to an undisclosed health problem.
Early in August 2023, Bill Apter, a wrestling journalist, spoke with Wyatt’s father, who advised him not to believe everything he reads online. However, he will return.
Sean Ross Sapp, a wrestling reporter, claims that Wyatt actually passed away from a heart attack.
He wrote on X, “I was given permission to reveal that Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID earlier this year, which exacerbated a heart issue. “There was a lot of good progress being made toward his recovery and return.”
After learning of his passing, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson wrote on X, “Always had tremendous respect and love for him and the Rotunda family.
Loved his presence, his in-ring work, his promos, and his connection to the WWE community. Character that is very uncommon, cool, and difficult to create in the crazy world of professional wrestling.
A total of four children, including two that he shares with his ex-wife Samantha and two that he shares with his fiancée Jojo, survive Wyatt.
