Mia Mastrov, a collegiate basketball player, is making waves online as an influencer both on and off the court.
The 20-year-old basketball star from University of California, Berkeley dazzles millions of fans on social media while dominating her opponents on the floor.
According to On3.com, Mastrov is one of the best NIL athletes in the nation and is ranked in the top ten in earnings for women in college sports, behind gymnast Olivia Dunne and fellow hoopers Angel Reese, Haley Caivender, and Caitlin Clark.
Her father, Mark Mastrov, is the creator of 24 Hour Fitness, and he was instrumental in instilling in her the value of brand awareness at an early age.
“You don’t have to be defined as one thing.
“You can do all things and still be powerful in every aspect of those things,” Mastrov said in an interview with the SF Chronicle in 2021.
Mastrov was a standout high school player who was selected numerous times to the first team of the league while growing up in Northern California.
She gained a scholarship to play women’s basketball for Cal as a continuation of her success.
Mastrov started her college career against Utah as a true freshman after enrolling early.
She has played in 64 games during her time with the Golden Bears, where she is presently in her senior season.
Because of his big social media following, college standout Mastrov is also successful off the court.
Mastrov has 672,500 fans on TikTok and more than 461,000 Instagram followers.
