On Monday, Aaron Rodgers was traded to the Jets, bringing him closer to rumoured girlfriend Mallory Edens.
Edens was born and raised in New York, the daughter of Bucks owner and financial magnate Wes Edens.
Rodgers was first linked to the 26-year-old model in January after the two attended a Bucks game and were photographed sitting courtside together.
“He sits next to us at so many games,” Edens told ESPN in 2019. “He and my dad are friends.”
Around the same time, Edens attended a Packers game in Green Bay in a suite with Rodgers’ former teammates’ significant others, Marcedes Lewis and Randall Cobb.
The new Jets quarterback is a Bucks minority owner.
According to SportsGossip.com, Rodgers’ friendship with Edens has turned romantic in recent months, following his split from Blu of Earth.
Blu of Earth, a.k.a. Charlotte Brereton, a podcaster and social media influencer, was the presumed influence of Rodgers’ February darkness retreat in Southern Oregon to help him focus his mind on what he wanted next.
Rodgers and Blu of Earth, who has denied being a witch, were romantically linked for the first time last summer before their relationship ended.
Rodgers previously called off his engagement to actress Shailene Woodley in 2022.
Rodgers dated race car driver Danica Patrick between 2018 and 2020, and he previously dated actress Olivia Munn for three years.
Edens is a socialite and model who graduated from Princeton in 2018.
She first made headlines in 2014, when she was 18 years old and represented the Bucks in the NBA Draught Lottery.
Edens’ father is a co-founder of Fortress Investment Group, a private equity firm.
Forbes estimated Wes Edens’ net worth to be $3.8 billion in March of this year.
