The 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is shaping up to be a mega-event and a record-breaker. The IPL 2023 has had cricket fans around the world glued to their televisions and even on the stadium, thanks to some heroics and cricketing all around. The IPL 2023 resumed its winning streak on Friday as KKR vs. SRH got things started at Kolkata’s renowned Eden Gardens. The Aiden Markram-led team was looking to continue its winning ways after defeating Punjab Kings in their previous game. The Kolkata Knight Riders were full of confidence after defeating the defending champion Gujarat Titans in their own stadium on the strength of Rinku Singh’s historic five consecutive sixes.
Harry Brook, however, returned the favour to the trolls and shown why he is deserving of every penny when he scored the first century of the Indian Premier League and the first for any batter in IPL 2023. Harry Brook gave SRH its second victory of the year with an innings of 100 off just 55. The topic of why Lucy Lyles, Harry Brook’s girlfriend, is in the spotlight and why fans are interested in her identity suddenly arises. To find out the solution, keep reading.
All About Harry Brook’s girlfriend-
There was a female in the crowd cheering Harry Brook on while wearing an SRH shirt as he destroyed KKR’s bowling lineup. Harry Brook later said at the presentation, “My girlfriend is here, but the rest of the family just departed. I foresaw this happening since I knew I would start getting runs as soon as they departed. Since then, fans all around the world have been curious to learn more about Harry Brook’s love interest. Thus, this is who she is:
For the past two years, Harry Brook and Lucy Lyles have been dating. She frequently appears in Brook’s Instagram postings, where the two of them look fantastic. She may frequently be seen cheering on her partner from the stands as he does his duties on the pitch. Since Lucy prefers to keep her personal information hidden, like her Instagram username, nothing is known about her. Lucy has kept her profile secret because she does not use social media often. (As of this writing) She has 1165 followers.
After scoring just 29 runs in his first three matches after being acquired by SRH for a staggering Rs 13.25 crore, Brook regained his groove and scored a 55-ball 100 while slamming 12 fours and three sixes. The first century of the 16th edition was this. As a response, it was never going to be easy for KKR to keep up a run rate of 11 or more per over, but skipper Rana (75 off 41 balls) did launch into SRH bowlers with a few sixes and had “Man of the Moment” Rinku Singh (58 not out off 31 balls) for company in their 69-run partnership off only 6.2 overs. This came after the opening 10 overs saw KR reduced to 96 for 5.
When T Natarajan removed Rana, Rinku was left to pull off yet another robbery since 57 runs needed to come off the final three overs. However, Natarajan (1/54 in 4 overs) was out for 16 in the final over while Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/29 in 4 overs) conceded 10 in the 18th over.
Umran Malik (1/36 in 2 overs) came back brilliantly to dismiss Shardul Thakur with the opening delivery, virtually ending the game as the southpaw was left stranded at the other end for the first two deliveries with Rinku on strike and 32 needed off the last over. With only eight runs given up, Umran’s quick and full bowling kept Rinku in check as he faced four balls.
